Climbing Program – Vallunaraju Peak (5,686 m)
This dynamic two-day expedition offers an ideal introduction to high-altitude climbing, starting with a scenic approach from the Llaca Valley to a strategic Moraine Camp at 4,900 meters. The journey combines technical glacier training with a thrilling midnight ascent, navigating moderate slopes and crystalline ridges to reach the 5,686-meter summit. Standing atop Vallunaraju provides one of the most complete panoramic views of the Andes—including the massive Huascarán, Ranrapalca, and Huantsán—before a swift descent and return to Huaraz, making it a premier choice for those seeking a short yet powerful alpine experience.
